“Where should I meet you?”
“Here, I’ll just share my location with you on Latitude, just navigate to me”
“Ok.”
“See you in a bit.”
A little weird, and a little awesome.

Apparently I am bizarre, because I am the one person in the history of mankind who liked Clippy.
You know, the paper clip in Microsoft’s Word. Whenever I needed him most, he’d appear. Yes, I AM composing a letter! Thank you!
I’m a believer in personal agents. I think the people who had the foresight to see them coming have been oddly silent lately.
Increasingly, as we begin to publish more and more, how much do we expect people to “just know” and how much can we repeat ourselves? When you publish your calendar to friends, or make status updates via Twitter or Facebook – do you expect your friends / contacts to keep up with you?
When you have a lot to say, it can be annoying to repeat yourself.
Then again, sometimes when you have a lot to say, it might be most wise to remain silent.
It’s taken long enough, but I’ve finally realized that it doesn’t matter if I think about things, it doesn’t matter if I have ideas, and it doesn’t matter if I’ve formed opinions if they aren’t in some way shared with the world.
I use a nice piece of software called VoodooPad to jot down all my ideas. It’s like a wiki on your desktop. The big thing about it that I feel is invaluable is that it auto-links what you write. As you write, it pattern matches for other page titles and creates the links for you. It makes it hard to ignore things you’ve written in the past.
If anyone knows of a web-based wiki engine that does this, please let me know.
